Short history of the leprosy colony
We flied to Teluk Wondama (about 20.000 populations) with a small plane and very welcomed by dr Habel (Kepala Dinas and his staff). It was surprising that we could see the first leprosy colony in Papua (built in 1950’s) and its settlement. We met Bupati and Wakil Bupati.
